Fans rejoice: for the first time the Audi RS6 Avant is being offered on the U.S. market. The sports wagon is now on sale at a starting price of $109,000. However, this is just a price suggested by Audi, as dealers can set the actual price of the car, so do not be surprised if you will be asked for a lot more.
The RS6 Avant is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers a total of 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and up to a top speed of 190 mph. The RS6 Avant comes with standard quattro® sport differential, an eight-speed tiptronic® transmission, and RS adaptive air suspension with controlled damping.
The sports wagon will be distinguished by the company’s new RS design language, including a three-dimensional RS-specific honeycomb structure within the Singleframe® grille finished in gloss black. Customers can also opt for an optional Black Optic or Carbon Optic packages that add 22-inch wheels, a black grille and black or carbon exterior accents.
Audi will offer a RS 6 25th Anniversary Nogaro Package limited to only 25 units. It will offer 22-inch 5-V-spoke trapezoid design, silver, cast-aluminum wheels with summer tires. The steel brakes calipers are painted red for a track-ready look.
