Chevrolet unveiled the 2021 Equinox at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show. The model received a sportier, updated look, additional available safety features and an RS trim. Sales will begin in the fall of 2020.
No big changes were made on the exterior, so it will be very easy to recognize the 2021 Equinox. It does get redesigned front and rear fascias, with new LED headlamps and more aggressive grille. The high-end trim levels, like the 2021 Equinox Premier will get gloss black grille with chrome inserts, LED headlamps and taillamps and new 19-inch machine faced wheel.
The new RS trim level will be easy to recognize thanks to its gloss black grille, the 19-inch Dark Android wheels, the black bowties, black badges and black side rails. For the interior, the RS version will get RS shift knob, red stitching and black interior upholstery.
Under the hood the 2021 Equinox will get two different engines: a 1.5-liter or a 2.0-liter turbo engine, combined with a 6 or 9-speed auto transmission. Chevrolet is also offering AWD.
As usual, the 2021 Equinox will be offered in L, LS, LT and Premier trims, and the new RS one. Prices will be announced at a later date.
