Chevrolet is preparing to launch a new generation Colorado. A first glimpse of the future truck was given today with the launch of the Zr2 version at the 2019 Method Race Wheels Laughlin Desert Classic. The public will have the chance to see the 2021 Colorado ZR2 for the first time at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
For 2021 the Colorado will be offered in three four levels: WT, LT, Z71 and ZR2. All the models will offer updated center bars, lower fascias and front skid plates, while the WT and LT will feature all-new gold Chevy bowtie logos. The Z71 trim will get a black bowtie logo, while the ZR2 will be the only version to feature the all-new, lettered, flow-through “Chevrolet” front fascia.
The 2021 Colorado ZR2 will offer as standard equipment: Multimatic DSSVTM position-sensitive dampers, standard front and rear electronic locking differentials, 2-inch suspension lift, 3.5-inch wider track, off-road rocker protection, cast iron control arms, Autotrac transfer case, and multiple skid plates.
The 2021 Colorado will go on sale in 2020. Prices will be announced at a later date.
