If you say Yenko you automatically think to Camaro cars taken to extremes. Now, is time to meet the 2020 Yenko/SC Stage 1 Camaro – a convertible Camaro limited to only 25 units and that delivers no less than 1,000 horsepower. It is now available through Chevrolet dealerships.
The 2020 Yenko/SC Stage 1 Camaro is base on the 1SS or 2SS Camaro, and can be ordered in both coupe and convertible versions. It is powered by a custom 6.8-liter V-8 engine equipped with a large supercharger. This system combined with a heavy-duty cooling system with an engine oil cooler, dual outboard radiators, dual-mode exhaust system, a transmission cooler and a rear differential cooler delivers a total output of 1,000 horsepower. The engine will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The extra power will also require a few other changes. As a result the 2020 Yenko Camaro will also benefit from GM’s Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo six-piston front and four-piston brakes, a limited-slip differential, plus revised bushings, springs and stabilizer bars.
Specialty Vehicle Engineering will also offer updates for both exterior and interior. Prices will be announced at a later date.
