The fifth generation Subaru Forester was unveiled at the 2018 New York International Auto Show and is described as the “roomiest, most capable and most versatile Forester ever made.” The new generation comes with a new exterior look, more power, plus an improved interior with more cargo room.

Under the hood the 2020 Forester gets a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine that produces 182 hp and 176 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a standard Lineartronic® CVT (continuously variable transmission) and offers 33 mpg highway fuel economy.

Of course it will be very easy to recognise the Forester, but if you look close you will notice it gets new headlight housings, Subaru’s signature hexagonal grille and additional high-gloss black and silver trim. The Forester is also a little longer and offers a 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

The 2020 Subaru Forester will go on sale this fall in five different trims: Base, Premium, Sport, Limited and Touring. Prices will start from $24,495.
