Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) teased the new 007 for the first time back in 2018 and now we have finally have our first look at the company’s Le Mans racer. Actually it is a little bit more than a racer, it is also a hope: it is SCG’s hope to claim America’s first overall victory at Le Mans since the Ford GT40 crossed the line in 1969.
SCG revealed pretty much no details on the SCG, but it announced that in addition to the factory LMP1 race cars, it will also offer customer LMP1 race cars and a limited run of road-legal 007’s. Rumors suggest the road version will be limited to 25 units, each carrying a price of about $1 million.
SCG also announced that the 007 will be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, but the output has not been revealed.
More details will be revealed in the upcoming months.
