Nissan Juke was first launched in 2010 and since then it was one of the best sold Nissan models, especially on markets like Europe. Now, nine years later Nissan is presenting the second generation Juke. It will make its global debut in five cities across Europe, with its first public appearance happening at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Juke was always easy to distinguished thanks to its unmistakable design. For the second generation Nissan took that design to a new, more sportier level. It grew in dimensions, offering more interior space: the 2020 Juke now measures 4,210 mm length; 1,595 mm height and a width of 1,800 mm. In the same time it is also 23 kilos lighter.
Thanks to its increased dimensions, the 2020 Juke offers improved interior room: rear-seat knee room increased by 5.8 cm, rear head room by 1.1 cm, while boot capacity is now at 422 liters – or 20% more than previous generation.
At launch the 2020 Juke will be offered with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder DIG-T turbocharged petrol engine that delivers a total of 117 horsepower. The engine can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a sporty 7-speed dual-clutch (DCT) paddle-shift transmission.
The 2020 Juke will go on sale at the end of November, with prices in the UK starting from £17,395 for the 1.0 DIG-T 117 Visia version.
