Mazda North America announced today the launch of the Mazda3 TCR which will be raced in the 2020 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series.
The 2020 Mazda3 TCR is powered by a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 350 horsepower and comes mated to a six-speed paddle shift competition transmission. Mazda announced that the new Mazda3 TCR is homologated to compete in any of the 36 TCR-sanctioned championships around the globe.
The new Mazda3 TCR will be first raced in January 2020 at the world famous Daytona Speedway, with Bryan Ortiz behind the wheel.
