After being unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Mazda CX-30 will go on sale in in January 2020 at a starting price of £22,895. The 2020 CX-30 will be offered in five trim levels – SE-L, SE-L Lux, Sport Lux, GT Sport and GT Sport Tech and with a choice of two petrol engines, both of which feature the 24v Mazda M Hybrid mild-hybrid system.
The first engine is the now familiar 2.0-litre Skyactiv-G engine featuring cylinder-deactivation and delivering a total of 122 horsepower. The second engine is the 2.0-liter SKYACTIV-X engine with an output of 180 horsepower. Both engines can be combined with an automatic or a manual transmission.
For the SE-L and SE-L Lux versions Mazda is offering a choice of eight exterior colors and 16-inch grey metallic wheels, while from Sport Lux onwards 18-inch wheels are standard: silver metallic on Skyactiv-G and bright silver metallic on Skyactiv-X models.
The interior combines premium dark grey cloth with navy blue accents is standard, while GT Sport and GT Sport Tech models feature black leather.
The 2020 CX-30 also offers a wide range of standard equipment: colour windscreen projecting head-up display, radar cruise control and LED headlights being the most important ones.
