The 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show is coming fast, and so are the news about all the cars and supercars we will get to see in Germany. One of these supercars is the Sian – or, the most powerful Lamborghini ever made, but also the first hybrid car ever built by the Italian company.
The most impressive thing about the Sian is of course its hybrid powertrain. It combines a 6.5-liter V-12 engine that delivers a total of 785 horsepower with an electric motor that adds another 34 horsepower. As a result the Sian delivers a total of 819 horsepower – making it the most powerful Lamborghini ever built.
The Sian goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and can hit a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). This time also makes the Sian the fastest-accelerating Lamborghini ever: traction force is improved by up to 10% in third gear and the 30 to 60 km/h acceleration time is improved by 0.2 seconds compared to the Aventador SVJ.
The new Sian hypercar takes its design inspiration from the Countach, and is immediately recognized as a Lamborghini. From the Countach is got the long, honed, sculptured contours, while the usual Lamborghini ‘Y’ shape can be seen in the NACA air inlets on the doors and the headlights. From the Terzo Millennio concept it got the signature design of the night lights. The rear wing is integrated within the profile, and extends out only during the driving to enhance the performance.
The 2020 Sian will be limited to only 63 units, with everyone of them being individually styled by each owner to create exclusive individuality through Lamborghini Centro Stile in conjunction with Lamborghini Ad Personam.
The car will be priced at $3.6 million! More details will be released on September 10 during its debut in Frankfurt!
