Lamborghini is using the 2019 Monterey Car Week to present the roadster version of the Aventador SVJ 63. Just like the coupe version, the SVJ 63 Roadster will be limited to only 63 units – commemorating the company’s founding year of 1963.

Each unit can be ordered in eight unique combinations for the exterior and the interior, with a matt or shiny carbon fiber upper part that includes roof, engine cover, engine air vents, windscreen rim and wing mirrors. For the interior Lamborghini is offering tri-tone Alcantara upholstery in Grigio Octans (grey), Grigio Cronus (grey) and Arancio Dryope (orange) is combined with carbon fiber and CarbonSkin.

Just like the coupe version, the SVJ 63 Roadster will be powered by a 6.5-liter V-12 engine that delivers a total of 770 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. As a result the sprint from 0 to 62 mph is made in 2.9 seconds – or 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe, from 0 to 124 mph in 8.8 seconds, while top speed is limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).

The car is of course already sold out, with the customers expecting their cars from 2020 onwards.
