Honda announced today that the 2020 Civic will arrive at dealerships tomorrow with a starting price of $19,750. Prices will easily go up to $27,600 if you opt for the Civic Sedan Touring equipped with the Continuously Variable automatic Transmission. The 2020 Civic sedan will be offered in five trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring.
The 2020 Civic continues offering the updates that were launched in 2019: black-painted rear spoiler, black grille, fog lights with gloss black trim and a center-mounted chrome exhaust finisher styled after Civic Si. The interior adds red gauges, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, paddle shifters on CVT-equipped models, textured aluminum sport pedals and Sport-specific seat materials with a combination of synthetic leather and cloth.
Under the hood Honda is offering a choice of two engines depending on the trim level. The LX and Sport versions will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. For the EX, EX-L and Touring trims Honda is offering a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 174 horsepower and 167 pound-feet of torque. Both engines can be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a Continuously Variable automatic Transmission.
