Abarth launched the 695 70th Anniversario special edition at the 2019 Abarth Day. The special edition was built to pay tribute to the 70 years since Abarth & C. was founded by Carlo Abarth (1908 – 1979). It will be limited to only 1949 units and will be available to order from mid-October at a starting price of £29,695.
The 695 70th Anniversario special edition will be offered in five exterior colors: Monza 1958 green, Circuit Grey, Gara White, Scorpione Black and Podium Blue. The model however was launched featuring the Monza 1958 green livery, a tribute to the colour of the first 500 Abarth that set six international records at Monza. The car sits on 17-inch SuperSport alloy wheels combined with red Brembo brake calipers.
For the interior Abarth is offering “Sabelt Tricolore” seats, developed specifically for this special edition, Uconnect™ 7-inch HD system with the DAB digital radio and navigation system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Google Android AutoTM, as standard.
Under the hood there is a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that delviers a total of 178 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds and up to a top speed of 139 mph.
