The 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show is just a few weeks away and we are already started to learn more and more about a lot of the cars to be displayed there. Brabus is one of the tuners that started to talk about the cars they will bring to Germany. Being a tuner focus on updating Mercedes car it was to be expected for them to come with something cool for one of the best Mercedes cars launched this year: the Mercedes-AMG A35.
With 306 horsepower under the hood, the A35 is quite powerful hatchback right from the factory. But Brabus found a way to make it even more powerful. The tuner is offering two different performance upgrades. The first one – PowerXtra adds and extra 44 horsepower and 44 pound-feet a torque, raising the A35 output to 350 horsepower and 339 pound-feet. The seconds one – PowerXtra + upgrades the power to a total of 365 horsepower and 359 pound-feet. In this latest iteration the A35 goes from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds – down from 4.7 seconds and up to a top speed of 155 mph.
The updates done to the engine are combined with a few changes made to the exterior and the interior, and of course a new set of wheels – size 8.5Jx19 front and back – wrapped in Pirelli P Zero of size 235/35 ZR 19 tires.
