Mazda is very serious when it comes about its electric future. An all-new model with an electric powertrain will be unveiled sometime next year, but until then Mazda will unveil the e-TPV prototype at the 2019 Tokyo motor show next month.

The e-TPV is based on the CX-30 and is powered by an electric motor that delivers a total of 141 horsepower and 194 pound-feet of torque. The engine takes its power from a 35.5kWh battery and apparently it will be offered with a range extender option.
